SARA J. ARMSTRONG
Sara is thrilled to be spending her summer aboard the Showboat, both on stage and off. She has previously performed with CAST in Anything Goes, The Sound of Music and The Music Man. Sara has a B.A. in music and English from Coe College where she portrayed Kristine in A Chorus Line. Sara has worked and volunteered with a variety of non-profit organizations including orchestras, swimming pools and community theaters. Currently, she is an instructor with the Gateway Chapter of the American Red Cross specializing in aquatics. She also enjoys tapping at Dancemakers Studio and singing in Riverchor and Clinton’s annual Messiah.
BECKI ARNOLD
Becki has been an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Bradley University for the past 10 years. Becki is not a newbie to The Showboat. She was here in the summer of 1997 with her designs for The Boyfriend, Dracula, Lucky Stiff, On Golden Pond, and Pirates of Penzance. Becki is no stranger to Patrick Stinson either, as they went to college together way back when. . . . . Becki has worked with such theatre companies as The House Theatre, Opera Illinois, The Guthrie Theatre, Chitaqua Opera, Little theatre on the Square, and Seaside Music Theatre. Her heart and her art are dedicated to her husband and children.
JENNIFER BALDWIN
Jennifer has worked at the Showboat for 12 years and has managed to work her way from an usher to a House Captain to an Assistant House Manager. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor in fine arts, preferring the 3 dimensional arts to the 2 dimensional ones. This will be another great season. Hope you enjoy it.
CW BARDSHER
With a Bachelors Degree from USAO in two fields, Communication and Drama, he is a double threat waiting to happen. CW has starred in productions such as “Two Rooms” and “The Man Who Came To Dinner” he has also been busy backstage for productions of “Honk Jr”, “West Side Story” as well as many others. CW has been fortunate enough to be awarded for his works in journalism and theatre.
ANNA-MARIE ELIZABETH BLACK
Anna-Marie is looking forward to her fourth season in a production on the Showboat. Previous Showboat shows include: The Sound of Music, The King and I, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She also participates in school plays, chorus, and band at Prince of Peace. She is a veteran of many church musicals at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton where she is also a member of the Luther Choir and Youth Bells. Anna is so glad you’re here and hopes you enjoy the show!
SANDEE CUNNINGHAM
Sandee is a huge supporter of the Showboat, as a 4th year member of the CAST Board of Directors, as an annual sponsor, and as a 10th year actor in over 15 shows! You might remember her in some of her favorite parts: Mrs. Armstrong in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Dora Bailey in Singin’ in the Rain, Sister in Damn Yankees, Ethel Miller in Domestic Tranquility, Mrs. Cratchet in A Christmas Carol, and Sally Cato/Mrs. Upson in Mame. MIKE CURTIN
Mike is thrilled to be working at the Clinton Showboat Theatre this summer. His favorite roles include Bobby in Company, Tommy in Tommy, Archibald in Secret Garden, and Barfee in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He will be a senior at Webster Conservatory finishing up his BFA in Acting next year! Thanks goes out to Mom, Dad, and all those who have nurtured my growth these past years.
LAUREL DECKER
Even after participating in nine Showboat productions since 2003, Laurel is still surprised and delighted to be included for another season. When not working as a pharmacist or tending to the duties of domestic goddess, Laurel enjoys Riverchor, church choir, tap dancing, downhill skiing and tennis. Thanks to Jerry for time off, and to Steve, Brenna and Marissa for your never-ending support.
MICHAEL DETMER
Michael reigns from Breese, Illinois. He just completed his senior year at Illinois State University majoring in Music Education and Musical Theatre. Michael is sending a huge thanks to his awesome voice teacher, Dr. Christopher Hollingsworth, Mom and Dad, Scott, and his best friends for their wisdom, support, and love.
NICHOLAS DIVARCO
Nick is very excited to be returning to the showboat for his fifth summer! This past semester, Nick attended the University of Northern Iowa as a theatre major with an emphasis in design. He hopes to one day become a lighting designer for a Broadway stage! Nick would like to thank everyone who was there for him.
KRIS DOSS
Kris is glad to be acting once again on the Showboat. He has been in Edgar (Edgar) and Buddy Holly Story (Hipockets Duncan) at the University of Dubuque. You might remember last year when he was in Biloxi Blues (Hennessy). He is currently studying Psychology and Theatre. He hopes that you enjoy the show!
EMILY EISENMAN
Emily is ecstatic to return for her ninth season as part of the Showboat crew! Since appearing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last summer, Emily stage managed The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on the boat, directed The Mousetrap and Flora the Red Menace at Ashford University, and coached speech at Northeast High School. Emily has also enjoyed honing her acting skills as a substitute teacher in the area. Many thanks to Patrick for the wonderful opportunities this season, and much love to friends & family across the globe!
BREANNA EISSENS
Breanna, 13, was a singer and dancer in the Victory Center’s production of The Witness in 2007. She was also in the cast of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on the showboat in 2009. She hopes to be an intern next year.
ROB ENGELSON
Summers on the Show Boat have become a habit for Rob; this will mark his seventh season of performances, and his fourth as a regular member of the company. This summer he will play the Duke in Big River and Jules/Bob Greenberg in Sunday in the Park With George. In his non-“Brigadoon” life, Rob just completed his fifteenth year as head of the music department at Ashford University and his sixth year as conductor of RiverChor.
THEA ENGELSON
An accomplished singer, pianist, accompanist and music teacher, Thea has been music director for over 40 productions in high school, college, university and professional theatres. In her eclectic musical career, Thea has toured as a singer with The Norman Luboff Choir; soloed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Cedar Rapids Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony; performed with the Dale Warland Singers on the Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion Radio Show; and helped prepare choirs for Olympic Festivals. Thea earned her PhD in Music from the University of Iowa in 2006. Fall of 2010 will find her teaching voice and directing STAMVOJA, an a cappella jazz choir, at St. Ambrose University in Davenport.
MOLLY FERGUSON
At the age of 9 Molly is just beginning her dramatic career. She will be in forth grade in the fall at Eagle Heights Grade School. Molly has performed solos two years in a row in the Eagle Heights yearly talent show as well as performing in the Best Cellar Theatre. Molly very much enjoys sports; participating in softball, soccer and basketball. Molly’s goal at this time is to someday sing the National Anthem at a ball game!
AMBER GRAY
Amber recently just graduated from Rockford College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles during her time there have been Columbina in The Glorious ones,Aunt Marta in Sicilian Limes, Little Red in Into the Woods, Ensemble member in Sweet and Hot, Katisha in Hot Mikado, and Hippolyta in Midsummer Nights Dream. She also recently just played Bogle in Artist Ensemble’s Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol. She is excited to work with Clinton Area Showboat this summer, and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
JORDAN HIRL
Jordan is thrilled to work on Showboat this summer! She is looking forward to experiencing all the aspects of the theater. Previously, Jordan has played Cecily in The Importance of Being Ernest, Joannah in The Magdalene Gospel, Juror Eleven in Twelve Angry Men, and an ensemble part in The Wedding Singer.

Antwaun from Maple Heights, Ohio is pleased to be making his Clinton Showboat debut! This Fall, Antwaun will be entering his Junior year at Baldwin-Wallace College majoring in Music Theater. He hopes you will enjoy this season as much as he will! Thanks Dad, Love you.
NANCY HOLM
Nancy has loved theater ever since attending her first children’s theater production growing up in Wisconsin. And she had season tickets—Yesss!!! However, the only production she participated in at high school was a children’s theater version of “Cinderella” as a lady of the court. Now that her children are grown, Nancy is trying a few things she has always wanted to do, with theater being at the top of the list. Recent roles include Mrs. Clausing in the Showboat production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” as well as Florence Unger in the female version of “The Odd Couple” and a chorus member of “HMS Pinafore” in Morrison.
BOB HORTON
Bob is thrilled to be making his Boat debut this summer where he will once again be working with his favorite performer – his daughter Nicole. A veteran of Midwest theater, Bob has appeared in over 40 shows during the past 20 years. Favorite roles include Captain Hook, Dracula, Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Beauregard Jackson Picket Burnside in Mame and John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet. Enjoy the show !!!
NICOLE HORTON
Nicole is thrilled to be aboard the Boat for her 5th season!! Audiences may remember her from last season as Cathy in The Last Five Years, Kathy Seldon in Singin in the Rain, and the Narrator in Joseph. She holds a BFA in musical theatre performance from Western Michigan University. She also recently completed a national tour in American Family Theatre’s production of The Little Mermaid as the Sea Witch. Other favorite shows include The King and I, Urinetown, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Peter Pan, Cabaret, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Much love to my amazing family and friends who are my constant support system!
TOMMY IAFRATE
Tommy is thrilled to make his Showboat debut! Credits include US/Asian tours of Cabaret, three Royal Caribbean contracts, seven Goodspeed Opera House productions, and several years as Artistic Director of Kaleidoscope Theatre. A recent transplant from New York, Tommy is pursuing his MFA in Directing at Western Illinois University.
ISAAC JANKOWSKI
Isaac is very excited to be back on the Showboat after a three year absence. He recently graduated from Prince of Peace and plans on attending Western Illinois University to major in Musical Theatre. His favorite roles include Billy in Anything Goes at Prince of Peace and Indian /Pirate in Peter Pan at Circa 21. He would like to thank God, his Family, Sheryl, and Patrick for all of the opportunities that they have given him.
DOUG KUTZLI
Doug’s romance with the theater began when he “convinced” his 3rd grade music teacher that he could play the part of a sad man that had lost his dog while the rest of his class sang “Where, Oh, Where Has My Little Dog Gone?” He has performed many roles since then through high school, college, several incarnations of community theaters and the Genesius Guild of the Quad Cities. Some favorite roles have been Charlie Brown and Schroeder (not at the same time!) in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Dr. Einstein (Arsenic & Old Lace), King Sextimus (Once Upon a Mattress), and recently Charles “Pa” Ingalls (A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas). “I think I have done just about every job there is in the theater” Doug says of his experiences. “Lighting and sound design, set design and construction, make-up, box office, house manager, I even ran the snack bar and made popcorn. I just love it all!”
Doug is new to C.A.S.T this season but has performed on the Showboat stage in the past with other theatrical companies.

Nick is making his Showboat Debut! Previous credits: LeFou in Beauty and the Beast and KoKo in The Hot Mikado. Last summer he performed on the Spirit of Boston, an entertainment cruise on the Boston waterfront. He will be receiving his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Emerson College.
AEDAN MARLOWE
Aedan wishes the Showboat “Happy Birthday”! Aedan is a sixth grader at Prince of Peace Catholic School. When he’s not at school he enjoys soccer, football, chess, basketball, and Boy Scouts, but his favorite is the theatre. “Showboat” is his fifth play, and his fourth for C.A.S.T. He was also Randy in “A Christmas Story”, Children’s Chorus in ”Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and Claude Herdman in “Best Christmas Pageant Ever” and in “Annie, Jr”. at school.
MADDIE MARLOWE
Maddie is honored to help the Showboat celebrate its 75th birthday by performing in “Showboat” this summer! Last summer she performed in her first play, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, on the Showboat. Since then she has been in “A Night at the Wax Museum” at Lyons Middle School where she is an eighth grader and this past spring she portrayed Mae West and Marilyn Monroe in “Fierce and Fabulous” at the River City Arts Center.
TOM McELENY
He’s always loved being on the CAST stage. He was in “My Fair Lady” and played the farmer in “Oklahoma” here on the showboat. He is really looking forward to playing the role of Selsdon Mowbray in “Noises Off” this summer. That is, if he makes it , “hic-cup”, through all of the rehearsals.
AIDEN McMINIMY
Aiden is a 6th Grade honor student in Camanche. He plays the saxophone in the School Band. Aiden is ecstatic to be cast in “Showboat!” He had a great time in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” as well as the Camanche Middle School Production of “The Patchwork Girl of Oz.”
BILL MOSGROVE
Bill is very happy to return to the “Boat” in the role of Windy in SHOWBOAT! He was seen as R.F. Simpson in Singin’ in the Rain last year, and played 3 parts in Chicago in ’08. He has been an actor for over 50 years and has been associated with C.A.S.T. for 20 years as a board member, Artistic Coordinator, and has been on stage eighteen seasons. In addition, Bill has also appeared at Timberlake in Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He is the founder of The Riverside Brass and has been a long time member of Clinton’s Municipal Band. Bill and his wife Betty are Fort Myers, Florida residents where he continues to perform as an actor, singer, and horn player with the Lee County Community Band. He is thankful that there are role for “old guys”, and that Patrick believes that he is not too old! Bill also thanks Betty, who tolerates his fantasy escapades after nearly 60 years of marriage!

Hilary is glad to be able to participate on stage this year as Parthy in Showboat.
Favorite roles in the past have been Eulalie McKenkney Shin in Music Man and
Mrs. Higgins, mother to Henry in My Fair Lady. Most of all she enjoys being a board member for CAST all year round. She adds, “I am glad to have the support of all my Franciscan Sisters in participating in the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre who dearly love theatre and all the arts.”

An avid traveler, and former showboat intern, Ryan can not be more excited to be returning for another great season aboard the showboat. A few of his memorable roles include. The Beadle: Sweeny Todd, Judd: Oklahoma, and Anselmo: Man of La Mancha.

SHANNAN OSBORN
This is Shannan’s 2nd summer on the boat. She comes from Oklahoma where she earned a B.A. with double majors in Music and Theatre from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. From there she went to Kansas State University earning an M.A. in Theatre. Shannan has Stage Managed shows such as Copenhagen, Singin’ in the Rain, and Into the Woods. This summer Shannan will be backstage but she is no stranger when it comes to being on stage. Shannan has starred in performances of Pippin, Wicked, Vanities, Little Women and many others. Kate is returning for her 9th year aboard the Showboat and is excited to be back! She graduated this Spring from Sauk Valley Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Skyler is 9 years old and in the 4th grade at Eagle Heights Elementary in Clinton. This year will be her 4th performance on the Showboat, with her most recent being The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She loves to read, ride bikes, and act. Her favorite color is Sky Blue. She would like to be an actress when she grows up.

Katie-Sarah is thrilled to be spending her first summer on the boat! She is a recent grad of Columbia College in Chicago where she earned her BA in Costume Design. She has worked on many shows and at many theatres but some favorites include Seussical, the Musical, Miss Saigon, and Once on This Island. She is returning to Chicago in the fall and is looking forward to the future, whatever it may hold. She would like to thank her amazing friends and family for all their love and support! For Sam.
MARY PIRCH
Mary is a retired K – 12 regular and special education instructor with licensures from Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa. Her hobbies and activities include gardening, landscaping, decorating, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors.
Mary has been in plays like “The Madwoman of Chaillot”, “Teahouse of the August Moon”, “The Mikado”, “Cinderella”, and “Becket” and performed in the orchestra, as a dancer or singer in “Bye, Bye, Birdie”, “Showboat”, and “The King and I”. She has welcomed the opportunity to be in a musical again and to reappear in “Showboat”.
JALAYNE RIEWERTS
Her claim to fame this year is having sung a short duet with Donny Osmond at the Flamingo in Las Vegas!!! Jalayne returns to the stage this year in Noises Off and is directing Big River. Having given up counting the number of years she has appeared on the Showboat she recalls her favorite roles as Dolly Levi, Mame and the brassy Mama Rose. In 2008 she appeared at Harrah’s, Las Vegas, in the musical HAT’S. For 45 years she has performed and directed in various community and professional area theatres. She holds an MA in Theatre in directing from Roosevelt University, Chicago. Rural Morrison is her home with hubby R. Kent where they operate a Landscape Nursery. Jalayne thanks the loyal CAST supporters who make theatre by the river possible.

Bradford is a Junior B.F.A Music theatre major at Southeast Missouri State University. Credits include: Ensemble “All Shook Up” (McLeod Summer Playhouse); Ensemble “Miss Saigon”, “HSM”, and “Grease” (The Municipal Opera of Saint Louis); Audrey II “Little Shop of Horrors”, and Fabian “Twelfth Night” (Southeast Missouri State Univ.). AMY SCHRAGE
Amy started her life in theatre at the University of Nevada , Reno , where she received her Bachelor’s degree. After that she worked on her Master’s degree at Kansas State University . Upon finishing up there, she put her theatre experience to use while working for a show in Las Vegas , Nevada .
TARYN SIKKEMA
Taryn is 9 years old. She has 1 older brother, TJ. Taryn goes to Fulton Elementary School and is in the 4th grade. She is in chorus and loves to sing. Taryn also likes to read, ride her bike, play softball and soccer. Taryn’s favorite thing to do is play with her dog Jake and take him for walks, although it is usually Jake taking her for a walk. Taryn likes to talk a lot and is not bashful, so therefore she makes friends very easily. She is a very outgoing, fun spirited person.
SARAH STEPHAN
This is Sarah’s second show on the Showboat! Last Christmas she starred in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in which she played the ornery Immogene Herdman. Sarah has also appeared in The Witness and many school musicals. She takes piano, french horn and voice lessons and hopes to someday showcase her talents on Broadway! Sarah is a seventh grader at Unity Christian School in Fulton and she lives with her mom, dad and brother in Fulton, IL.
PATRICK STINSON
The winter of 1997 Patrick stepped foot on the Showboat stage to play the role of Charlie Brown in the musical Snoopy! Since then he has performed in over 30 shows, ran the intern program, directed over 15 shows, designed sets, lights, costumes, and sound for numerous shows, and has produced over 10 shows on “The Boat.” As the producing artistic director, Patrick is living a dream of running a theatre. He thanks his wife, whom he proposed to on “The Boat”, for being a summer widow, his parents who told him “to check it out.”, and the Showboat audiences for migrating back each season to see what we’ll do next. Kate will be a fifth grader at Eagle Heights this year. She enjoys singing, acting, dancing, soccer, tennis, jumping on the trampoline, and reading. Kate has performed with the CAST in Joseph and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She also performs at the Best Cellar Theater.

Jessi most recently worked with the Limelight Theatre Company to Costume/Scenic/Props Design You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and All These Will Be Worthless. She taught English in Wuhan, China. She also Costume Designed Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre’s Othello; Scenic Designed Bradley University’s Death Trap and Costume Designed Accidental Death of an Anarchist.
TAYLOR WIEBERS
This is Taylor’s sixth season on the Showboat. You may have seen in Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, The King and I, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, or Singin’ in the Rain. She was also an intern for three seasons. She would like to thank her family and friends for always coming to watch and support her!
ALLISON WINKEL
Allison, a twelve year old from Fulton, IL loves being on stage. Allison was last seen in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat here on the Showboat. Allison participates in student council, band, chorus, and track at her school. She recently earned a superior rating at music contest and was selected to perform a vocal solo in the Honors Recital. Allison has enjoyed theater since she was four years old and is thrilled to be in Showboat this summer and hopes to perform in other various productions.

Marly is thrilled to be designing for the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre this summer! Originally from Grinnell, Iowa, Marly is currently earning her M.F.A. from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. Her recent design credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, Evita, and [title of show].

JOHN BARGER
John is a sophomore at Clinton High. This will be his second year as an intern on the showboat. He was in “Singin’ in the Rain” and ” Joseph”. He is involved in bowling, baseball, tennis, and golf at clinton. John hopes you enjoy the show you are about to see and wishes you all a safe ride home!
DERRICK BERTRAM
Derrick is back on the Show Boat as an intern for the first time since 2007. The previous shows he performed on the Show Boat were “Alice in Wonderland” (White Rabbit/Frog/Caterpillar); “Treasure Island” (Ben Gunn/Cotton); ”You Can’t Take It With You”(G-Man); and “Guys and Dolls” (Hot Box MC/The Greek). This fall, Derrick will be a senior at Clinton High School. While at CHS, he performed in The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin/Ozian/Flying Monkey); American Idle (Jake Black); She Loves Me (Arpad Lazlo); You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Chorus); and Cinderella (Herald). Derrick is glad to be back on the Show Boat and hopes everyone enjoys the shows this season.
IAN RUSSELL BLACK
Ian returns to the Showboat this year as a 2nd year intern. You may remember him as an orphan in Oliver (2003), “Chip” in Beauty and The Beast (2005) and as a chorus member in The King and I (2006). He honed his theater skills participating in the annual church musicals at Saint Paul Lutheran Church where he is also a member of the “Singing Saints” vocal ensemble. He plays cello with the Clinton High School Orchestra and also sings in the Clinton High A’Cappella Choir. In his free time if he’s not in front of the computer he is working on his tennis skills as a member of the Clinton High School JV tennis team.
MEGAN COLLINS
Megan is 16, and going to be a Junior next year. She attends Fulton High School. She has been acting for about 2 years, and singing for over 8. She is an active member of her local Thespians troop, lead by Mr. Neil Luker, happily enough she was chosen to be Vice-President this year. As well as Thespians she is also in Speech and Drama Team lead by Mrs. Susan Daniels. Megan is also in many other clubs like SADA, SADA PRT, Key Club, Choir, Band, etc. Megan enjoys singing, dancing, and the occasional cat nap. It is her second summer on the Boat, and she enjoys every minute of it! Megan says its really fun, and a lot of hard work, she loves learning new things that will help her further in her acting career. She wants to thank her friends and family for supporting her in this amazing profession.
HALEY COURTER
Haley is very excited to be returning to CAST for her third season! She got experience in all different fields of theatre this past year as a sophomore at Clinton High School, performing her favorite role, Meg, in Little Women, student-directing You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and performing in the pit for Cinderella. She is pumped to continue growing on stage and behind the scenes this summer, making this her best season yet! She would like to thank her momma for being so patient and wonderful! Enjoy the season!
JAVIAN JONES
Javian is an enthusiastic, determined 8th grader who attends Washington Middle School. He was recently in Washington Middle Schools production of High School Musical. Javian also enjoys wrestling, playing football, basketball, and baseball. He is excited to join the showboat crew this year and put on a great show.
JACOB KILBURG
Jacob is very excited to be back aboard the Showboat for his third season. Jacob will be in the Intern Program this year where he will take part in all of the theatre for children shows. He will also be on the mainstage in Big River. You may recognize him from Thoroughly Modern Millie (ensemble), Guys and Dolls (ensemble), The Crucible (Francis Nurse), Into the Woods (Steward), and The Music Man (Oliver Hix – barber shop quartet). He would like to thank his parents, directors, and friends for all of their support. Enjoy the 2010 summer season.
BROOK LARSON
Brooke has been a intern for four summers now. She will be attending Columbia College of Chicago in the fall for Technical theatre with a minor in set design. She’s been apart of 20 shows in the last 3 years and looks forward to more to come.
ADAM LUCKRITZ
Adam is very excited to be joining the CAST as an intern this year. He is 14 years and will be a Freshman at Prince of Peace High School in the fall. Adam has been in two previous performaces on the Showboat, he was a part of the children’s chorus in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and also has a part in The Best Christmas Pagaent Ever. He has also participated in school performaces of Annie Jr., A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Anything Goes. Aside from acting, Adam loves to play soccer, hang out with his friends and spend time with his family.
MEGAN MOHS
Megan is going into her senior year at Pleasant Valley High School where she is an active member of the drama department. She has been in shows such as Anything Goes, Seussical the Musical, A Christmas Carol, and J.B. She also enjoys being a part of the makeup crew for all shows put on by PV. Outside of drama she is involved in Choir, Mock Trial, and National Honor Society. She plans to attend college and study music and theatre.
MARKIE REGENWETHER
This is Markie’s first year as an intern here at the Clinton Showboat. She’s seventeen years old, and attends Clinton High School. She has been in Thespians all of her high school years thus far, and she loves to create and participate in all forms of art, and she considers theater one of them.
COLE RAUCH
This is Cole’s third year with CAST. He has been working with the Disciple’s Acting Troupe, (D.A.T.) and the Fulton High Thespian Troupe 546. Cole has been in 14 plays, 6 musicals, and 1 Follies as well as many choral and band performances.
JOHN STEGER
John is super excited to be interning on the Showboat, and his mom is super excited that John won’t be spending eight hours a day on Facebook like he did last summer. John is fifteen years old, and will be a sophomore at Clinton High, where, among other activities, he’s on the soccer team and belongs to the drama club. This spring John played the court jester in CHS’s production of Cinderella, and looks forward to somehow incorporating juggling into every single one of his future acting roles – so watch out for flying balls and/or miscellaneous household items!
NOAH STRAUSSER
Noah is excited to be interning for the first time for C.A.S.T. Previously, he played a rotten Herdman brother in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever, Flick in A Christmas Story, and a chorus member in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat all for C.A.S.T. In the fall, he will be a freshman at Prince of Peace. His roles at Prince of Peace have included Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, Rooster in Annie, Oberon in Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Jo Jo in Seusical the Musical and Ben in Yearbook. He loves singing, soccer and scouts.
JUSTIN TEGELER
Justin is in his second year as an intern, having so much fun last year he came back for more. He will be a senior next year at Clinton High School, involved in A Cappella choir, Marching & Symphonic Band, bowling, tennis and also a member of the Thespian Troupe #452. Having been involved in many productions here on the Showboat and at Clinton High, he is hoping to pursue drama as part of his ongoing education when he attends college next year. He would like to thank everyone for coming to see the show and hope you enjoy yourself on the Showboat as much as he does.
RUBINA VIDAL
Rubina is a freshmen at Clinton High School. She is the youngest of eight kids. Rubina is involved in dance, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, and swimming. Rubina was involved in middle schools plays including The Lion King, Annie, and Suessical. Rubina’s first appearance on the Showboat was in The King and I in 2006. Rubina this year appeared as Lucy in Clinton High’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and in Cinderella. Rubina also is invoved in Mixed Chior at Clinton High and sings in her church choir. Rubina is excited to be a part of the Showboat this summer and hopes everyone enjoys the shows.
