The great musical “Singing In The Rain” is now playing on the Lillian Russell stage at the Clinton Area Showboat Theater. This is a must see performance for the whole Clinton area! When I say “playing”, that is an accurate description. What fun the whole cast is having and a terrific performance. The dancing, singing, acting, visual affects are all in this production!!!

The setting of “Singing In The Rain” is the 1920’s at the time of silent movies changing into “talkies”. Patrick Stinson is fantastic as Don Lockwood, the star of silent movies. Nicole Horton is Kathy Seldon, who will be Don’s love of his life. Lina Lamont (Don’s co-star in the movies) is portrayed by Claire Barnhart. Joshua Sohn is Don’s sidekick, Cosmo Brown. This is a large cast and they are large in their performances as well!!

A screen is used to show the silent performances and one scene is of Eagle Point Castle.

The choreography is by Julia Mitchell & Patrick Stinson, as well as Patrick being the director. The live orchestra is right on and not overpowering.

Your favorite songs are all here! “You Stepped Out of a Dream”, “All I Do is Dream of You”, “Make ‘Em Laugh” (great skit), “You Are My Lucky Star”, “You Were Meant For Me”, “Moses
Supposes” (another great skit), “Good Mornin” and “Singing In The Rain” (with rain and Patrick has great fun!).

In the second act are “Would You”, “What’s Wrong With Me?), “Broadway” (with Gotta Dance”) and the whole cast in “Singing in The Rain”(without the rain).

This is a must see performance of “Singing In The Rain” now showing on the Lillian Russell Stage of the Clinton Area Show-boat Theater through July 19th. Reserve your seats so you don’t miss out!
